Letter #8

February 24, 2011 — Capetown

I'm in Cape Town and having a ball. I can drink the tap water, the weather is paradisical, I can understand most of the language. It's dangerous, of course-one doesn't go out alone after the sun goes down, and one is always keeping a wary eye. With a runaway unemployment rate, well, you know.

But it's a phenomenal city. I'll be writing more, but right now I'm going out to slurp it up as as fast as I can.

I did meet with a terrific man yesterday afternoon and kicked off the Gay Pride weekend with the gang last night. One never knows what will turn up next. So life is back to some kind of familiar

Wireless connections aren't all over the place as I'd thought, hence the long lag time since my last letter, so I may be back in US before you get the next installment. But I'll do my best. In the meantime, know I'm safe, well taken care of, healthy again, bed bug free, and now, I'm going shopping!

Peace everyone
